Terms of Use

Last updated: 2 August 2026

The short version: DayWindow is a counting tool, not legal or tax advice. Subscriptions renew until you cancel, and you cancel through Apple.

1. What DayWindow is

An iPhone app that counts days against a travel or residency rule — the Schengen 90/180 rule, and a 183-day residency rule for a country you choose — using dates you enter yourself.

2. What DayWindow is not

It is not legal advice, immigration advice or tax advice, and is no substitute for any of them. Border officers, immigration authorities and tax authorities have the final say, and the rules that apply to you depend on your nationality, your visas and your own circumstances. The count is only as accurate as the dates you enter. Always check the official rules before you travel. You use DayWindow at your own risk.

3. Your data

Your trips stay on your device. We never receive them. See the Privacy Policy for the detail.

4. Subscriptions

5. What Pro unlocks

Testing a trip before you book it, and recording more than ten trips. Everything else — the counting, the window, the leave-by date, the rules, reminders and the widget — is free and stays free.

6. Fair use

Please do not attempt to reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app. The app and its design remain ours.

7. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of DayWindow, including fines, refused entry, overstays or tax consequences. Nothing here removes any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be removed by law.

8. Changes

These terms may change. The current version always appears on this page with the date at the top.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
